Two Manouche guitar players, a double bassist and a violonist meet and keep in touch. They are from very different musical backgrounds but their understanding when they play, is total: Sinti Swing, four musicians who play from the heart!

Sébastien and Youri Félix are the founders of the group. They feel passionately about the music of their predecessors, especially the sound of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grapelli. The two guitarists get their musical training from a cousin of their parents , and launch their own trio in  1994 with Bernard Chalon, double-bass. In 1998 the trio meets John Intrator, violin, at a jazz festival – where else? They keep in touch and from 2002 onwards the four of them play together. The Sinti Swing Quartet is born.
