Antoine Simoni, François Chesnel and Romain Piot form a trio of young musicians from the new school. They are, thanks to their free and hybrid musical training, at the crossroads of Jazz, electronics, classics and improvisation. The trio participated in the "Jazz à la Fac" ("Jazz on Campus") Festival in February 2001 and the Maizet Jazz Festival in September 2001. In their aim for plurality, they favour meeting new influences and invite, on a regular basis, other musicians, as well as DJs, dancers and rappers in order to create evolving and open artistic structures (Art Ensemble of Caen - Jazz Dudim Puzzle en novembre 2001, Explicit Lyrics, Sélection du Printemps de Bourges en 2002).
